Bridge – Beginner Classes

From time to time we offer a series of evening Lessons for Beginners. The Lessons will run over 8 weeks, and are usually held in March & September timeframes. We also consider our resources (teachers, helpers, admin) at the time which affects the timings of the classes.

Note: the classes starting in March are now closed, but you can always register your interest for the class held later in the year.

The Lessons are introductory cover basic bidding theory in Standard American. 

• DATES:         Wednesday evenings
• TIME:            7:30PM – 9:30PM approximately
• VENUE:        North Balwyn Bowls Club, 60 Buchanan Avenue, North Balwyn
• COST:           8 lessons $120, payable on first night, by card only
• REGISTER:  Register for our next series using our online form.

To provide a quality program we try to limit the class size to 20 (but consider demand and capacity).

After the completion of the Beginner Classes you are welcome to join our club to continue practising your new skills. There are several options for learning and playing, such as Back to Basics twice a week, and Duplicate sessions twice a week. The cost of an annual Social membership (Bridge) is $80.00.
