Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is compulsory for anyone selling or serving alcohol.
The Club has very few members that have a current RSA certificate. This is of concern as service of alcohol at the club bar should be performed – in most cases – by members with a current RSA certificate.
The Board is asking members without any previous RSA certification to undertake an online course (as an example. This course costs $49 and can be completed within four to twelve hours. It does not need to be completed in one sitting – you have 12 weeks to complete the course but completion within one week is recommended. The course is fairly simple – a lot of common sense – so it is almost certain you will successfully complete the online assessment tasks required to obtain the certificate.
Upon successful completion, please send to me a copy of the Certificate of Completion issued to you together with the Tax Invoice provided to you for the course fee. You will be reimbursed this fee in full by the Club.
You do not need to advise the Club of your intention to undertake the course. When registering, you can use either your own or the Club’s address as the Billing Address.
