News:
- Thank you to Jane Rose for baking a batch of Anzac biscuits last Thursday for the consumption of all. Obviously they were well received and they disappeared rather rapidly!
- All the carpet in the clubhouse was professionally cleaned on Saturday morning last. Thank you to all of you in the Speed Room who helped clear the room and stack everything neatly under Geoff’s capable guidance last Thursday. Thank you too to the club’s cleaner Ian McDougall who helped prepare by moving chairs from the lounge area, the Board room and all offices, and moving other items off the floors or out onto non-carpeted areas.
Special thanks also to those who helped / offered to help with the task of putting everything back in place after the carpets were dry on Saturday afternoon, namely Kevin Rose, Alan Hamilton, Bruce Stewart, Kathy Stewart and Craig Stephens.
At long last we now have a pristine clean room! Let us do our utmost to keep it that way. - Beginners’ lessons with Mary Elson are continuing on Wednesday nights, from 7:30pm to 9:30pm.
- Please arrive and be seated at least TEN minutes before the scheduled start times.
