NBBC Functions
The NBBC offers a range of facilities that makes it an ideal place to host a diverse range of functions. Our self- contained function room, outdoor seating areas, BBQ facilities and Lawn bowls, offer much to choose from.
The function room is equipped with a fully functional kitchen, including two domestic fan bake ovens. Gas hobs on top of ovens. Triple door fridge, microwave and commercial dishwasher.
The room is fully air-conditioned, and you will have access to a PA system. The function room is equipped to seat 140 guests and 200 cocktail style. We can provide cutlery and crockery for two courses. You would need to provide napkins, while we can provide tablecloths. The room needs to be returned to the position it was found in.
Function Room Hire
What is the cost to hire the function room?
$500 for a duration up to 4hrs. $600 for up to 5hrs. Includes use of kitchen and BBQ.
What time is the room available?
The function room is available to hire Monday to Thursday Midday-10.30pm; Fri, Saturday, 6pm-11pm; Sunday, Midday- 8pm (subject to availability). Note that bar service can be provided only up to 6pm on Mondays to Thursdays.
What catering options are available?
We do not cater on premise, you can out source your catering, or self cater. You have access to our kitchen.
Can we decorate the function space?
Yes you are welcome to decorate, without any attachments to our walls.Please be aware of set-up and packdown times.
Can we hire a band or DJ for our event?
Yes you can, which must be set up, indoor only.
Can we set up a bar tab?
Yes, and we would request you leave your drivers license and credit card at the bar. Please be aware we are TAP and PAY only. We are fully licensed, NO BYO ALCOHOL OR SOFT DRINKS.
Bowls Rink Hire
How much does it cost for green hire?
Green hire is $200.00 for a 2hr duration. We provide the bowls and instruction on the basics. A green can be hired without use of the function room late Friday afternoons only.
How many people per rink?
We normally suggest 8 per rink or 48 per green.
Is it barefoot, or can any shoes be worn?
Barefoot or flat soled sport runners are required.
Is it BYO alcohol?
This is a fully licensed venue, we do not permit BYO alcohol or soft drinks.
BBQ Hire
How much does it cost to hire the BBQ?
The cost to hire is $250 for a 3hr duration. You have the use of our kitchen. When combined with bowls rink hire, the BBQ charge is reduced to $150.
Do we need to provide, cutlery, napkins, condiments?
You need to provide napkins, condiments and paper plates
Do we need to bring BBQ utensils?
The club provides tongs, spatula, bbq flipper, cooking oil and paper towel
Are there any outdoor tables?
Yes, there is outdoor seating for 48; the tables have shade.
Is there a fridge for food storage?
Yes, there is a commercial 3 door fridge
